Traffic

Inspect visits, sources, campaigns, and pages collected by your Website's tracker.

Traffic shows the visits Graytower received for the selected Website and date range. Use it to compare visitors, sessions, and pageviews, then inspect sources, campaigns, and pages to see what brought people in and what they viewed.

Read the main counts

Visitors are recognized browser identities. Sessions group activity across a visit; inactivity of 30 minutes starts a new session. Pageviews are accepted page loads or path changes, with repeated views of the same path within 60 seconds suppressed.

Inspect sources and pages

Campaign values come from tracking parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign. A direct visit means no more specific source was available for that visit. Revenue attribution uses a visitor's first-known source, which may differ from a later session's source.

For example, a visit to northstar.app/pricing?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid has explicit campaign context. A later direct visit can still belong to the same visitor.

If counts look low

If traffic looks low, check Missing traffic before comparing it with another tool that may use different identity or filtering rules.
