Refunds
Learn how Stripe refunds change net revenue without changing the original source link.
Graytower reports eligible net revenue for a payment: its amount minus refunded amount, with a floor of zero. A full refund therefore contributes zero. A partial refund lowers the contribution by the refunded amount.
Example
| Stripe payment | Refunded | Graytower net revenue |
|---|---|---|
| $49 | $0 | $49 |
| $49 | $20 | $29 |
| $49 | $49 | $0 |
What happens to attribution
When a matched payment is refunded, its existing visitor and acquisition link are retained; the refund does not invent another source. Stripe synchronization may take time to bring a new refund into reports, so check the last successful sync if a recent refund has not appeared.
